We still need a volunteer Entries Secretary for our 3 Aintree Sprints. Can you Help?
We need a volunteer to take on the role of Entries Secretary for our 2023 Sprints at Aintree.
The role involves:
Accepting online entries for our three annual Aintree Sprints – entries open in February each year
Compiling the entry list for each event
Sending final instructions to competitors just before each event
Sending results to competitors
Dealing with occasional queries from competitors
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be a distinct advantage but much of the entries system is automated.
The role would particularly suit a retired member looking to be involved behind the scenes.
There is no requirement to attend the events, though you would be most welcome. Because it is almost entirely done online, it may be possible for the role to be shared remotely by two people.
Full support will be available from other members of the organising team throughout the season.
(Note that the role covers the three Aintree sprints only. You would not be expected to deal with entries for our Aintree Track Days or Barbon Hillclimbs)
Can you help?
For more information, without obligation, please contact John Harden (select Chairman on our Contact us page) or the current incumbent David Hunt (select Entries Secretary on our Contact us page).
