Lisa Swift Parrett

By Chairman • September 11th, 2026
As many of you will already know, Lisa Swift Parrett sadly passed away last weekend after a mercifully short battle with Cancer.
For several years, Lisa was known to many of you as the assembly area marshal at LMC’s Aintree events and, despite her condition, she was still ‘on duty’ at our track day in mid-August.
In recent years, Lisa had also become a regular paddock marshal at the Barbon Hillclimbs and, together with her family, marshalled at many other organisers’ sprints, hillclimbs, autosolos and rallies in the region.
To honour her, her husband and children still came along to help with the Sporting Bears’ event on Sunday; an event that was particularly close to Lisa’s heart.
Thank you for your help and dedication to motorsport Lisa; we shall all miss you.
