Our 2023 Speed Championship event results are coming in

Results so far are now available on our 2023 Speed Championship website, and there’s a battle going on already!

It’s not too late to join the Championship. There are plenty of rounds to contest and you could still win an award!

We’ve even introduced a class for Rally Cars – see the regs for more details!

As a member of Liverpool Motor Club, you could increase your chance of winning an award by also entering the SD34 Sprint & Hillclimb Championship and/or the ANWCC Speed Championship too. Most of the qualifying events overlap, so you could do well in any of the Championships without entering any extra events.

We’ve opened our entries system for you to enter this year’s Barbon Hillclimbs.

We know times are hard for everyone and motorsport organisers are feeling the pinch too.

If we are to keep Barbon alive, we need to attract every competitor that we can. Barbon isn’t a permanent venue and apart from the £30 fee per competitor that goes to MSUK, every penny goes back into running the events. Will you support us in 2023?

Sadly, the message is simple, use it or lose it.

2023 LMC Speed Championship Calendar

The calendar for the 2023 Liverpool Motor Club Speed Championship is now on the Championship website at www.speedchampionship.com.

We shall open registrations in mid-February, and you can enter the Championship at any time until registrations close on 1st July. However, results will not be counted retrospectively, so we recommend registering well before your first event of the season.

We hope you’ll join us!

Did you go to our Birthday Dinner and Championship Awards Evening? If not, you missed a superb evening!

What a great evening was had by all attending the LMC 2022 Dinner, Awards Presentation and 120th Birthday Celebration.

90 members, partners, friends and families were present to enjoy a lovely relaxed evening with very little formality. We hope you’ll all be back next year for another LMC end-of-season dinner.

Make a note in your Diary, the 2023 Annual Dinner & Awards evening will be held on 25th November!
