Geoffrey Ashworth

I am very sad to report that LMC President, Geoff Ashworth, passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, 30th November, following a long battle with cancer.
Geoff had been a big part of Liverpool Motor Club since the late 1960s and his enthusiasm for the club and its history was legendary.
Yesterday we held the LMC annual lunch, and we think Geoff would have appreciated the fact that he took his final chequered flag on the day members gathered to celebrate motorsport and the club’s year.
Details of his funeral will be announced in due course.
John Harden, LMC Chairman
