April 26th Aintree Test/Track Day – marshals needed!

The 26th April Track Day is full and bookings have closed.

It’s the nearest thing you’ll see to full circuit car racing right here on Merseyside!
Amongst the wide selection of cars entered for this Saturday’s Aintree Test/Track Day are a McLaren M1a (see photo), a TVR Tuscan (photo), a full race Morgan sports car, an F1 Lola Haas and, of course, a whole range of saloon and sports cars.

Spectators are welcome. Adult admission is just £5 (accompanied under 16s get in free). Gates open at 7am, the action starts on track at around 9:15am and continues until around 4:30pm, with just a 45-minute break for lunch.
Parking is free, and spectators have free access to view the cars resting in the paddock between runs.
The golf centre cafe in the paddock serves hot and cold drinks & food all day from 7:30am.

And we are still looking for marshals to help our loyal team of regulars… previous experience not essential, see the marshals’ tab via the LMC website link above for more info and to volunteer.
We give each marshal £15 towards their lunch and travel costs, you’re guaranteed a 45min lunch break too.

 

Group 1 (Novice/Quick) FULL

Group 2 (Intermediate/Quicker) FULL

Group 3 (Expert/Quicker still) FULL

Group 4 (Single Seaters/Racing cars)

This is a fantastic opportunity to test at the start of the season particularly if you have a single-seater or sports racing car. And it’s a fraction of the cost of testing at Oulton Park!

We run sessions of 10 minutes each, so you’ll be on track every 50 mins which is great for making and testing adjustments.
