Our On-Line Membership Payment Facility Goes Live
You are now able to join or renew your membership of Liverpool Motor Club on-line
This service is available 24/7 using the popular PayPal Payment system which is safe, secure and reliable.
Unfortunately we are charged for receiving payments on-line so, to keep our membership fee as low as possible, we have to pass on the cost of using this facility by adding a small charge of 60p but this will mean no risk of loss or delays in the post & you’ll usually get a confirmation of receipt within 24hrs. And you won’t be paying for a stamp either!
Because you will usually receive your confirmation complete with membership number within 24 hrs, it is the best way if your next event is within 28 days of your application
The normal postal system will still be available for those who prefer to pay by cheque:
Full details of both systems can be found on our Membership page.
Manchester Indoor Classic Car Show
24th & 25th March 2012
Have you got a classic car?
We are looking for six or seven classic cars from members to display at the 2nd Manchester Indoor Classic Car Show at the Trafford Centre on 24th & 25th March. If you have a car that you’d be willing to display on the LMC stand, please let John Harden or Geoff Ashworth know. You can contact them by sending a secure message from our Contacts page.
Your car doesn’t have to be in concours condition, we are looking for cars that represent the interests of our members, so working classics are just as desirable for our stand. We are not just looking for road cars, classic single seaters are of just as much interest. What is Classic? We are going to interpret this fairly loosely – it depends on the vehicle, so if you think you’d like to display your car, just tell us what it is and we will see how it might fit into our display.
Your car will need to be brought into the exhibition hall adjacent to the Trafford Centre between 8am & 8pm on Friday 23rd March, and it will need to stay there until 4pm on Sunday 25th, though you will not necessarily have to stay in person throughout the show.
Road cars must have no more than 1/4 of a tank of fuel on board. Our stand will be continuously manned whilst the show is open and, being an ex-bonded warehouse, overnight security is assured. Exhibitors will get free parking and free admission for 2 people. There’s also free secure overnight parking for trailers and even for motorhomes if you wish to camp on site for the weekend.
With 1000 free parking spaces adjacent to the exhibition halls, and another 15,000 spaces next door at the Trafford Centre itself, there will be no shortage of free parking for visitors either!
2012 is the Liverpool Motor Club’s 110th Anniversary, can you help promote your Club?
