The sixth annual North West Motor Show will be held in Southport on 21st & 22nd June 2008 and will be even bigger and better than ever.

And for sixth successive year Liverpool Motor Club will be an essential part of this increasingly important event with a great selection of competition, classic and road cars as part of our display, which will be the biggest club display in the show.. (more…)

No more bookings are being accepted - Sorry!

If you gave us an email address you should have received your acknowledgement by now; if you cant see it, please check your inboxes and/or spam filters to ensure we can communicate with you. If we do not have your email address then it will have been posted to you or, if unsuccessful on this occasion, returned by 2nd class mail.

It’s great to receive so many early bookings from our regular attendees. We look forward to seeing you all on 31st May. If you were not successful booking this time, don’t forget that our next trackday will be 4th October and that bookings will open about 5 weeks beforehand. We will automatically send a reminder to everyone who has taken part in one of our last 10 trackdays. If you want to be added to our contact list, send us an note using the form on our Contact Us page, clicking on the email link under Trackday Bookings filling in the contact form quoting your email address, (please see below reference Hotmail & MSN addresses), and we will inform you as soon as bookings open.

Please note that we are experiencing problems with Hotmail & MSN email addresses as some emails are being bounced back stating “no such user”. Please try to give us a “normal” email address which we guarantee will not be divulged to anyone else and will only be used to inform you about our trackdays.

We will be running two more of our highly popular Sprints at Aintree this year, and a July Hillclimb weekend at picturesque Loton Park. See our Regulations page for details.

Despite some heavy clouds and some occasional spits & spots of rain the day ran smoothly with only minor incidents. On track there was just one new class record to acknowledge however some of the class battles were frenetic. Practice again proved troublesome for several competitors. Barry & Eve Whitehead retired with a blown Suzuki K7 engine which was only on its second event! Nick Algar had a rear suspension failure with his DJ Firehawk but was able to transfer to one of the Westfields. Meanwhile Chris McCann hit problems with his Skyline & withdrew. The first timed run preceded a short lunch break after which there were two further timed runs. So what were the stories behind the bland results? (more…)

It is being held at the Worsley Old Hall Restaurant and Pub Worsley, M28 2QT on A575 Walkden Road.

Just off M60 Junction 13 Worsley or off A580 East Lancs Road onto A575 Walkden Road.

Start is 8.30pm. The room is upstairs so if you are coming get your drinks from the bar first.
