North West Stages Rally: Saturday 23rd March

Liverpool Motor Club is helping to run a stage on the exciting Legend Fires North West Stages Rally on 23rd March at Weeton Army Barracks, not far from Blackpool.

The Rally is the premier multi-venue Tarmac event in the North West, and is based at Myerscough College, where there’s a fantastic Rally Show on the Friday of the event. This year’s event will include the first “closed road” stages in the North West, so spectator interest is expected to be very high.

There’s a fantastic variety of cars taking part from the top ex-WRC cars to local club drivers in home built near-standard road cars.

As in previous years, we shall be concentrating our efforts on running the flying finish & stop line for Saturday’s 6 stages at Weeton where our services are much in demand as we have developed an excellent reputation for efficiency. If there are enough volunteers, we will; be able to look after a nearby corner or two as well.

If you would like to come along and help at this non-spectator venue (and previous experience is not required), please contact our Rallies Coordinator, Geoff Maine, and he will let you have more details.   Just click here to be taken to our Contact Us page where you can send him a secure message, or phone him on 0151 521 5060 (he works shifts so please be patient!).

You can get a flavour of the rally via the promotional Video here
